Who uses the Magician Original?
The EasyStand Magician Original is the perfect choice for use by the following:
- Children who are 3’-4’6”(91-137 cm) tall and weigh up to 100lbs (45 kg)
- Children who suffer from contractures who have difficultly standing
- Children who have Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy or Spina Bifida, as well as other similar diseases
- By any schools that encourage children to play with their peers
What is the Magician Original?
The EasyStand Magician Original Standing Frame has a planer seating system, which allows your child to move comfortably between sitting and standing without causing discomfort or distress. Designs specifically to be a Childrens Standing Frame, the Magician Original is adjustable and will support your child as they grow throughout the years.
The different settings mean that the Magician Original can support your child whatever their level of ability, and can offer independent mobility for your child while they’re standing.
Where would you use this product?
This product can be used in various places, such as:
- Both at home and at nursery
- In primary schools
- During specially adapted physical education classes
- On children’s wards and inside children’s hospitals
- Inside therapy centres
When would you use this product?
This product can be used at any of the following times:
- When the child is at home, helping to prepare food, for example
- During physical education lessons
- During therapy, the stander can be used to help reduce muscle contractures
- During school lessons, when children can achieve Individual Education Plans such as standing while taking part in a lesson
How does it work?
- The child can be easily transferred into the stander while maintaining a seated position
- Support straps can be positioned to best secure the child
- Once the child is secure, the table can be moved to the desired place
- In order to elevate the child, simply depress the foot button
Why is the Magician a better choice?

- There are many positions available including sitting, anterior tilt sitting and standing
- The sit-to-stand helps the child stand naturally, which helps reduce any stress and anxiety that may be experienced by the child during this process
