EasyStand Strapstand for Seamless Transfers

The EasyStand StrapStand enables effortless transitions between standing frames and assistive devices, providing an outstanding solution for an adult standing frame.

The EasyStand Strapstand is the solution for easy transfers if you or your patient suffers from a spinal cord injury or recent stroke; or has Multiple Sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, Spina Bifida, obesity or any other conditions that impede their leg movement. Its pump actuator lifts the user directly from their wheelchair, meaning that it increases accessibility for people who find transferring from a wheelchair to a standing frame difficult. Able to be used at home or work, this device can come to your aid if extended wheelchair use causes the hips and knees to tighten, as its specially designed lifting arms reduce knee pressure.

To use the EasyStand Strapstand, simply position the straps beneath the buttocks, attach the strap to the lifting arms and pump the actuator handle until you reach a standing position.

The EasyStand Strapstand is designed for adults between 5′ and 6’5″ (152-196 cm) tall and weighs up to 350 lbs (159 kg).

EasyStand Strapstand for Rehabilitation and Recovery

As well as home personal use, the EasyStand Strapstand is used within hospitals and rehabilitation centres, nursing homes and care units for patients requiring physiotherapeutic rehabilitation.

During a rehabilitation program, using a standing frame as soon as possible after an injury or recent condition will maximise the health benefits of standing for the patient, giving them the best possible chance at recovery. Instead of the patient being pushed forward into the knee pad, the Strapstand’s lifting arms lift the user into a full standing position, allowing them to gain its physical benefits. Moreover, its narrow frame means that the stander can move through standard doorways, and its construction makes it perfectly suited for heavier weight limits of up to 350 lbs (159kg).
